[줍줍매직문장] 21권-1 A Light in the Woods

  • The magic tree house stood out against the gray sky.
  • On the cover of as a painting of a peaceful looking field and a blue sky.
  • I wonder where we should look for it.
  • She charged into Jack's room.

 

*dreary는 음울한,  따분한 

-deary that makes you feel sad

It was a dreary Sunday afternoon.(21-1/3p) 

Even in the dreary light, the medallion was shining.(4-8/49p) 

 

*rumble 우르르 거리는 소리를 내다

*in the distance 

*boom (천둥, 대포 등의) 쾅[탕]하는 소리를 내다

Thunder rumbled in the distance.(21-1/3p)
