- a stake; something at risk, especially with regard to money and investments We've got skin in the game.

+) They have no skin in the game.

+) The federal government already has billions of dollars of skin in the game.

Gen Z teens are feeling less engaged by school.

*divide (사람들의 집단을 구분하는) 차이점

One thing that caught my eye is a big engagement divide between teens who say they plan to go to college and those who don't.

But more than 4 in 10 Gen Z students say they don't have college plans, and they are a lot less optimistic.

Indiana's cellphone ban means less school drama. But students miss their headphones

Zip them up, please.

They can't be on their phone during class.

*have that thought in the back of my mind 염두에 두다, 마음속에 새겨두다

It's up to schools to come up with their own discipline procedures.

Now he wouldn't risk it.

*mixed bag 잡동사니

Headphones are a mixed bag.

This law will benefit more than it will hurt.

*downtime 한가한[휴식] 시간, (기계, 특히 컴퓨터가) 작동하지 않는 시간 (→uptime)

She hopes it stays that way.
