*take it easy 잘 가라, 또 만나자, (명령형으로 쓰여) 진정해라[걱정 마라],  일을 쉬엄쉬엄 하다

*nifty 멋지게 만들어진, 솜씨가 좋은, 훌륭한, 실용적인

It's every bit as nifty as Zeek said it was.

*cowboy up 용기를 내다, 강해지다

*lose one's nerve 기가 죽다, 겁먹다

I'm incredibly nervous, and if I don't just cowboy up, then I'm gonna lose my nerve.

*bummed  낙담[실망]한, 상심한

Dad and I are so incredibly bummed that we're gonna miss your speech. 

*get across (의미가) (~에게) 전달[이해]되다

What you wanna get across...

*student body [집합적] (대학 등의) 학생 총수, 전학생

*body (흔히 공공 목적을 위해 함께 일하는) 조직[단체]

*fluster (특히 너무 많은 일로) 허둥지둥하게 만들다 

*be[get] flustered 허둥대다, 쩔쩔매다

You get a little flustered.

*courtesy [|kɜːrtəsi]  공손함, 정중함 (=politeness), (격식을 차리는 상황에서) 예의상 하는 말[행동]

*get a point across 이야기의 논지[요점]를 이해시키다

They don't give you the courtesy of getting your point across. 

I'll just get someone to pick me up. 

*piecing together 조각들을 맞추다, 조각들을 모아서 전체를 이해하다

Now you're piecing it together but.

이제야 엄마가 (짜맞추고) 이해하고 계시지만요. 

+) It's a little like piecing together a puzzle. 

     그것은 작은 퍼즐을 맞추는 것을 좋아합니다.

Drew is trying to watch TV but there is nothing but static.

I had it for a little while, but I wasn't reading any of my books, and I was watching a whole bunch of nothing. 

So I felt like I was better off without it.

Crosby said he was gonna "totes handle it.

*in ages 오랫동안 (=for a long time)

*haven't ~ in ages 오랫동안 ~을 안 하다

I'm using the good silverware we haven't used in ages.

*might as well + 동사원형: …하는 편이 낫다, …하면 좋을 텐데, …하면 어떨까

So I thought I might as well pull it out and, you know, have some fun with it.

*seize the moment 기회를 포착[활용]하다, 순간을 즐기다

Sort of seize the moment.

*take one’s mind off …에서 마음을 돌리다, …의 일을 잊다

Want to sort of take my mind off of things.

조금이나마 마음을 편안하게 하고 싶어요. 잠시라도 생각을 다른 데로 돌리고 싶어요.

*check on ~의 상태, 상황을 점검하다

You whiz over there really quickly, and check on him, make sure he's good.

*drugged up 약에 취한

I'm drugged up.
