1. be supposed to V
~하기로 되어있는 약속이나 의무를 나타냄
나 내일 아빠 가게 일 도와 드리기로 했어.
I'm supposed to help my father at the store tomorrow.
난 사람들을 도와줘야 하는 거야.
I'm supposed to help people.
※be going to: 나의 계획, 내가 할 일
(나의 계획으로써)
나 내일 아빠 가게 일 도와 드릴거야.
I'm going to help my father at the store tomorrow.
<~하기로 되어있는>
'but + 부가적인 설명' 추가를 통해 약속이나 의무가 바뀔 수도 있다/ 이행이 안 될수도 있음을 암시
나 내일 아빠 가게 일 도와 드리기로 했는데, 다른 날 도와드려도 되는지 한번 여쭤볼게.

3. 보통 사람들의 평가, 판단(People say~)
이 식당이 그렇게 괜찮대.
This restaurant is supposed to be really good.
=People say this restaurant is really good.

4. 원래 말하고자 하는 의도를 알려줄 때
화내지마, 그냥 웃자고 한 말이야.
