Most doxxing campaigns only last a few days. But the effects can be felt for months

Doxxing means publishing somebody's private information for revenge or to punish them.

The posters had sprung up all over Olivia Lynch's Brooklyn neighborhood.

And my first reaction was that twinge in my heart.

They are being used as pawns in a war.

She sees a genocide taking place, as Israeli airstrikes in retaliation for the Hamas attacks on October 7 send the death toll in Gaza into the tens of thousands.

I think these posters convince people that everything that Israel, with the backing of the U.S. government, are doing to Palestinians is justified.

I considered it to be maybe a small act of civil disobedience.

I was taking down an inflammatory piece of propaganda.

She was fired just two days after that video went viral.

Lynch tried to file for unemployment benefits.

*subjective standard 

Offensiveness is almost by definition a subjective standard because what might offend you might not offend me

*opt out of something (~에) 참여하지 않기로 하다

I refuse to be held responsible for the actions of a racist, sexist online mob.
